We have compiled a list of festivals in Seattle Area for you to enjoy and
make the most out of the much awaited summer. Share this with your friends and also let us know if we missed anything.

4th of July at Lake Union

It is one of the best shows in Seattle. It is fun for the whole family and it's
free.

ArtWalk Issaquah - JUNE 1, JULY 6, AUG. 3, SEPT. 7

Live music, hands-on art projects, art displays, 5-8 p.m. on first Fridays
through September, downtown Issaquah

Bite of Seattle

Bite of Seattle is Seattle''s Northwest''s premier food festival. Here you can
enjoy food samplings from over 60 restaurants and also enjoy wine tastings,
"green bites," and other samplings. Most vendors will be offering smaller "Just
a Bite" portions for a lower price, so that you can sample more variety.

Colman Pool - JUNE 30-SEPT. 16

Outdoor saltwater pool scheduled to open for the season after major
reconstruction, daily June 30-Sept. 3 and Sept. 8-9, 15-16,

Chinatown-International District Summer Festival

It is the largest Pan-Asian American street-fair in the Pacific Northwest. The
Chinatown International District Summer Festival has been a community event
since 1975. Held annually on the second weekend of July. This annual two-day
event includes kids & family activities, cultural dances, musical performance,
karaoke contest, and over 100 booths featuring arts & crafts, local business,
community organizations and much more!

Capitol Hill Block Party

The annual summer music festival for which the whole blocks of the Hill shut
down and stages are set up. You will see live

performances by some of Seattle''s best young rock bands

Edmonds Waterfront Festival

Entertainment, arts, crafts and food vendors, kids'' activities and rides, beer
garden, classic yacht show, 3-10 p.m.

Festival Sundiata - JUNE 30-JULY 1

African and African-American culture including music on three stages, food

Gig Harbor Garden Tour - June 30-July 1

A self-guided event, showcasing seven gardens in the Gig Harbor area, with

Greenwood Car Show - JUNE 30

Jetty Jam - JUNE 30

Board sports festival, stand-up paddleboard and kiteboard racing, demos,

Northwest Folklife Festival 2012 (Memorial Day weekend)

Northwest Folklife is happy to offer a wide variety of activities for all ages
happening this Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-28)

in Seattle Center. As always, the Festival charges no admission fee. The
Northwest Folklife Festival has become a tradition for families for good reason.
Each year we provide many opportunities for children and parents to dance, sing,
play music, and experience the diverse cultures of the Pacific Northwest.
